  In level pasture. Circular area (27.5m N-S; 26.9m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 1.2m; Wth 1.1m) with an external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 2.3m). Gap (Wth 2m) across scarped edge at ESE. Field boundary runs along outer line of fosse SW->NNW. Interior, sloping down gently to E, is dry and under pasture.   Description

  In pasture, on slight N-facing slope of a low river valley. Circular area (28m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.2m) NNE->WNW and defined by scarped edge (H 1.2m; Wth 2.1m) WNW->NNE, with an external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 2.35m) NNE->SE. Gap in bank (Wth 1.5m) at W. Stream runs E-W along base of scarped edge on N side. Fosse infilled with rubble SE->NW; farm trackway runs along line of infilled fosse NW->S.   In level pasture. Roughly circular area (25.5m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) NNE->SSW, with an external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.8m) NNE->SSW. Bank has been reconstructed SSW->NW, 1m inside original line, to form part of a field boundary. Gaps in bank at N (Wth 3.5m), W (Wth 1m) and SSW (Wth 1m). Interior level, dry and clear of overgrowth.
