  Description

  In level pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 32m) defined by scarped edge (H 1m; Wth 1.8m). Outside this and concentric with it is earthen bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 0.8m). Distance between banks is 8.4m; this area is slightly lower than interior and surrounding field level. Outer bank truncated by field boundary SE->SW. Field clearance debris dumped around perimeter of site. Interior slopes gently up from centre to edges, and is largely covered by dense overgrowth. • LI037-038 Enclosure
  Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked ovoid enclosure (c. 30m N-S; c. 45m E-W) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, is now largely inaccessible due to dense overgrowth. As far as could be ascertained the enclosing element consists of a low earthen bank with a shallow external fosse. Field boundary skirts enclosing element E->S, as does public road S->W.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (68m E-W; 72m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.25m) with an external fosse (D 0.15m; Wth 1m). Field boundary runs along outer line of fosse WNW->SSE. Roughly rectangular raised platform (24m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.4m; Wth 2.4m) in SE quadrant of interior against inner base of bank.
