  In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.3m) with external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth 1.2m) and with counterscarp bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 0.4m) SSW->NW. Latter incorporated into field boundary NNE->SSW. Gap (Wth 3m) through bank at NNE. Interior level and largely under pasture but with some scrub cover. E and W sides slightly bowed; bank best preserved on E and S sides. Field fence skirts site on E side. Interior level; dry and clear of overgrowth.
