  Description

  Road bridge (Wth 5.2m; long axis E-W) over River Funshion, on county boundary with Limerick. Limestone construction, stone footing set in river. Five semicircular arches (span c. 4m); rough voussoirs. Bridge widened by c. 2.11m on upstream side (N); similar size arches with dressed voussoirs; piers of ashlar project out into low bluntly pointed cutwaters. Modern iron railed parapet; structure recently repaired. Bridge of 18th-century appearance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   Description

  In reclaimed pasture 50m E of a stream and 100m S of the townland boundary with Coolnamohoge. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as an oval-shaped enclosure. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped area (dims. 31m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank from SW-N-SE reduced to a scarp elsewhere. A disused lime-kiln is shown 50m to SW on 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map.
