Description
Located on a small N-S spur. The faint cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a slight fosse E-SW that is clearly visible only on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Blue Sky International during June 2018. The fosse is barely traceable all the way around on the same images, apart from a gap (Wth c. 5m) at SW. It was first reported by Matthew Mullen-Reynolds. Description
Situated on edge of ridge, overlooking raised beach and sea to E. The NMI topographical file records three stones at the site, but only two are now visible. The two stones are large, shaley slabs set 9m apart. The N stone is the smaller (H 1.8m, 0.9m by 0.4m in section), orientated NW-SE. The S stone (H 2.9m, 1.2m by 0.3m in section) is also orientated NW-SE. Description
Detached four-bay single-storey thatched direct-entry house, built c. 1780, now disused. Rectangular-plan with curve to north, house abutting to south. Pitched thatched straw roof rising over doorway, concrete ridge, red brick corbelled chimneystack with concrete apron, concrete skew to north. Unpainted smooth rendered ruled-and-lined walling to east elevation with painted smooth rendered plinth to first three southern bays, unpainted smooth rendered walling to west with buttressing to south. Square-headed window openings, painted smooth rendered reveals and soffits to east, painted timber or stone sills, painted one-over-one timber sliding sash windows to east, two-over-two and three-over-three windows to west. Square-headed door openings, painted smooth rendered soffit and reveal with painted timber door c. 1960 to east, painted timber door with glass upper panels to west. Pitched corrugated-iron shed attached to north, painted timber vertically-sheeted walling to east, painted timber vertically-sheeted doors. Set with south gable facing road, surrounded by exposed earthen surface.

Corner-sited, bounded by smooth rendered wall to south and east, painted random rubbles stone wall with soldier coping to north-east.

Description
Attached six-bay single-storey house, built c. 1830. Rectangular-plan cranked to north, flat-roofed porch to west. Originally terrace of houses, some amalgamated to make this house c. 1920. Pitched corrugated-fibre cement roof, c. 1955, concrete ridge tiles, red brick corbelled chimneystacks, painted timber eaves board, half-round uPVC gutters to overhanging eaves. Painted roughcast rendered walling, smooth rendered plinth, smooth rendered walling to porch. Square-headed window openings, painted smooth rendered soffit and reveals, painted stone sills, painted two-over-two timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening, painted smooth rendered soffit and reveals, hardwood six-panel door. Fronts directly onto street, similar property to south, small grassed area to west, hedge to south-west.

Semi-detached four-bay single-storey with attic thatched lobby-entry house, built c. 1780. Rectangular-plan, porch to south, extension to north. Suppressed-hipped thatched roof with scallop pinnings, scalloped ridge, eaves scalloped over porch, red brick corbelled chimneystack with concrete aprons; pitched concrete corrugated tile roof to extension, concrete ridge tiles, smooth rendered flat-capped chimneystack, uPVC half-round gutters bracketed to painted timber fascia board. Painted roughcast-rendered walling, smooth rendered plinth, smooth rendered ruled-and-lined walling to porch. Square-headed window openings, painted smooth rendered soffits and reveals, painted stone sills, painted timber top hung casement windows; moulded render kneed and lugged surrounds to south. Square-headed door opening to porch, painted timber half-door replacement with moulded panels to bottom half and glass panels to top half, name plaque over door. Set in own grounds, garden to south and north-west, concrete paved paths, carpark to north-east, bounded by painted roughcast-rendered wall with smooth rendered coping, entrances to south and east having square piers and painted timber gates.
