  Description

  Built into the E face of the W pier of an ornamental arch, c. 2m off the ground. This is a piece of sandstone (Wth 0.41m; H 0.31m) with a series of four concentric incised circles and a central dot (diam. 0.15m). (Eogan 2011, 10-12) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. • ME018-049 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Located on a fairly level landscape that was once part of the demesne of Arch Hall. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 60m) defined by two fosse features (ext. diam. c. 80m) was recorded on a drone-mounted camera operated by Justin Kenny in August 2018. There are entrances through the inner (Wth c. 5m) and outer (Wth c. 5m) fosses at ESE. It is also faintly visible on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during June 2018.   Description

  Located on a slight S-facing slope that was once part of the demesne of Arch Hall. The cropmark of an unmapped D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 42m NNE-SSW; c. 42m WNW-ESE) is visible only on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during 2018. It is defined by a single fosse (Wth c. 2m) and the straight side at W (L c. 30m) is incorporated into the cropmark of a narrower NNE-SSW field drain.
