THE DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF: Creation of 14 no. temporary access points along public roads. These access points are proposed where the pipeline corridor intersects the public road along the routing of the Staleen Water Treatment Plant to the townland of Deenes trunk water main and the Staleen Water Treatment Plant to the Donore Reservoir trunk water main. Description
The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Oval area defined by remains of stone wall at NW and elsewhere by interrupted bank of earth and stone (dims. 33m NNE-SSW, 22m WNW-ESE). No visible fosse or entrance. At SE, 10m out from bank, is segment of bank (L 9m) concentric with bank enclosure.
