  Description

  Situated on top of a small hill. This is an oval grass-covered and slightly domed (H 1.2m) area (dims 42m NNW-SSE; 33m WNW-ESE) defined by a scarp (Wth 2m at E to 8m at W; H 1.2m) WNW-N-SE, which melds into the slope elsewhere, with slight remains of an outer fosse (at WNW: Wth of top 17m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 0.1m) SW-N. There is a ramp entrance (Wth of base 3.7m) at SSE. The base of the hillslope has a natural scarp NW-NNE, which morphs into a berm (Wth 15m) NE-SE.   Description

  Located at the crest of the SW-facing slope of a small hill. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 47m NNW-SSE; 41m ENE-WSW) that slopes down to the W (H 1m). It is defined by an earthen bank (at ENE: Wth of base 8m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.9m) and outer fosse (at ENE: Wth of top 9m; Wth of base 3m; ext. D 0.7m) NE-SE but the perimeter is reduced to a low bank (at WSW: Wth of base 4.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.1m) W of a N-S field bank. The original entrance is not identified.   Description

  Situated on a slight N-S ridge in a low-lying landscape with a canalised N-S stream c. 40m to the E. This is a raised subcircular to subrectangular and grass-covered area (dims 27.5m NNE-SSW; 27.5m WNW-ESE) defined by a small earthen bank (at N: Wth of base 3m; H 0.3m) that is largely reduced to a scarp (H 0.6-0.9m) with an outer fosse (Wth of top 6.5m; ext. D 0.3m) at S that is largely reduced to a berm (Wth 2-3.5m). The ramp entrance (Wth of base 3m) is at SSE.   Description

  Situated on the summit of an ENE-WSW ridge. It is not depicted on any map but was described in 1969 (SMR file) as a circular grass-covered area (diam. 39.5m N-S; 36.5m E-W) defined by a fosse (at N: Wth of top 8m; Wth of base 3m; int. D 0.5m; ext. D 0.3m) from an outer bank (at N: Wth of base 6m; Wth of top 2.5m; ext. H 0.1m). There was no visible entrance. It is a faint feature but it is visible on Bing images (c. 2013) and Google Earth (24/03/2017; 17/07/2017).   Description

  Situated on a low hillock in a fairly level landscape. It is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45m) on the 1836 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described as a ‘Fort’ and as a hachured feature on the 1912 edition. A low scarp (Wth c. 2m; H 0.3m) survived E-S in 1969 (SMR file) in an area that had been quarried, and this seems to have been removed by 1995 (OSAP).
