  Description

  Situated just S of the summit of a drumlin, overlooking Bocks Lough to the W. This is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 33m N-S: 29.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at N: Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.6m) with an outer stone facing, and there are traces of an outer fosse (at N: Wth of base 2m; ext. D 0.4m). There is an entrance through the bank at ESE (Wth of base 0.9m), but the original entrance is more likely to be that at S (Wth of base 2m). • MO027-038 Ringfort - cashel
  Description

  Situated at the outer edge of a rock outcrop terrace on a W-facing slope. This is a grass-covered but uneven circular area (diam. 43m N-S; 41.6m ENE-WSW) with some rock outcrop defined by a stone wall or stone-faced bank (Wth 2-3.1m; int. H 1-1.7m; ext. H 1.3-1.4m) that has a drystone wall on top of it NW-SE and SW-W, and the drystone wall replaces the original permeter WNW-NW. There is an entrance (Wth 1.6m) at W, which is probably original. A T-shaped depression, consisting of a narrow channel (dims 10.3m N-S; 2m E-W; max. D 0.7m) with a short central spur (dims 2.8m E-W; 3m N-S; max. D 0.8m) extending E is SW of the centre and is probably a destroyed souterrain.   Description

  Situated at the outer edge of a rock outcrop terrace on a W-facing slope and SW of the centre of cashel (MO027-038----). This is a T-shaped depression, consisting of a narrow channel (dims 10.3m N-S; 2m E-W; max. D 0.7m), with a short central spur (dims 2.8m E-W; 3m N-S; max.   Description

  Located towards the top of a W-facing slope. This is a circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 41m E-W; 39m N-S) with rock outcrop that slopes down to the SW (H 3.2m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 1-1.1m; ext. H 1.2-2m), with an internal stone facing WSW-N-E. There is no visible fosse and the entrance (Wth of base 1.45m) is at SE.   Description

  Situated on a low hillock in a low-lying landscape between drumlins with a small a small stream curving around it c. 110m distant at SE-S to c. 45m W of the monument. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. 41.5m WNW-ESE; 40m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at E: Wth 2.3m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.6m) with inner facing stones that is incorporated into a field bank S-W and partly quarried at NNW. There is no visible fosse and the original entrance is not identified.
