  Description

  Located just off the crest of a broad hill at NE. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) that slopes down slightly to the NE defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.4-4m; int. H 0.4m at NE to 1.6m at SW (upslope); ext. H 0.2m at SW to 1m at NE), with an outer stone facing W-E-S. There is no visible fosse and the entrance at SE (Wth of base 1.5m) is probably original. The monument is overlain by a NW-SE field wall towards the perimeter at SW.   Description

  Located on a rise on a NE-facing slope. This was described in 1967 as a circular area (diam. 20.5m ENE-WSW; 20m NW-SE) planted in coniferous trees that sloped from the centre down to the SE (H 1.2m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.6-4m; int. H 0.5-1m; ext. H 0.7-1m) that was replaced SSW-WNW by a WNW-ESE field bank. There was no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 2.4m) at SE was stone-lined. It had been removed by 1995 (OSAP).   Description

  Located on a NE-facing slope. This was described in 1967 as a D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 21m NE-SW; 19.6m NW-SE) defined by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.8-1m), but the monument was truncated by a NNW-SSE field bank at NE and was not evident beyond this feature. There was no visible fosse but there was an entrance (Wth of base 2.1m) at SW. Inside the perimeter at SSW was a small subrectangular house site (dims 3.9m x 3.7m) defined by earthen banks (Wth 1.4m; H 0.3m). The remaining SW part of the monument had been removed by 1995 (OSAP).   Description

  Situated on a slight rise on a NE-facing slope. A circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 30m) is depicted only on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’.
