Description
Freestanding cast iron water-pump, erected c.1900, now disused. Cylindrical fluted shaft and moulded plinth. Fluted domed cap surmounted with acorn finial, and tap fixing to side. Cast-iron lion's head mask forming spout to west side. Set in concrete base to east side of road on south approach to Milltown.

Description
Wall-mounted cast-iron post box with hinged door, installed c.1901-10, with banded margin surround, projecting letter slot embossed with raised 'POST OFFICE' insignia, ER VII royal cipher to upper portion, 'W.T.Allen & Co. London' foundry cast to bottom. Set into roughcast rendered section of eastern gateway to Gallanagh House, north-west of Monaghan Town.

Description
Single-arch sandstone road-over-railway bridge, built c.1860. Part of Portadown & Cavan branch of Ulster Railway. Elliptical arch with margined rock-faced voussoirs, parapets, abutments and plinths. Dressed rock facing to soffit, tooled squared rubble copings to parapets. Single carriageway track to deck. Bridge located to north-west of Monaghan town.
