  Three pieces of heavy brushwood (Wth 0.7m; D 0.07m) in opposing drain faces. Wood species include alder and ash. The wood is situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat. The site may be related to SMR OF007-083----, located 4.7m to the NW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.   Description

  Three pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.052m) in the drain face (Wth 1.42m; D 0.44m). The pieces are widely spaced and one is 0.25m below the others. Wood species include ash and hazel. The wood is located in well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and twigs. This site may be related to SMR OF007-083----, located 2.8m to the SE.   Description

  Three closely set pieces of brushwood (Wth 0.15m; D 0.07m). The brushwood (diam. 0.032-0.041m) are of ash. A single piece of brushwood was noted in the opposing drain face and may be part of this site. The wood sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains and some Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.   Description

  An oak plank (Wth 0.19m; D 0.05m) in the drain face. The wood is in poor condition and the timber conversion cannot be determined. It is located at a transition from poorly to well-humified Sphagnum peat. This timber is 5.5m from SMR OF007-083---- and is orientated in a similar ENE-WSW direction. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
