Description
On a slight rise in pasture. Described in 1972 (SMR file) as a platform type ringfort, circular in shape (diam. 29m N-S), the interior of which sloped down slightly from N-S. Description
A ruined church is marked in this area on Taylor's 1783 Map of County Kildare, but only a graveyard (KD022-003001-) is shown on the OS 6-inch mapping (1838 and 1939 editions). On a gentle S-facing slope. There were no visible surface traces of a church when visited in 1987 (SMR file).
