Description
Situated at a break in NE-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 44.5m NW-SE; 39.3m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; H 0.3-1.9m), well-preserved at NE where some boulder revetment survives. No indication of a fosse. Two gaps, at the NE (Wth 3m) and SE (Wth 2m), either of which may represent an entrance. To the NE of the centre is a raised rectangular area (dims. 4m NE-SW; 6m NW-SE; H 0.4m), possibly a hut or house foundation. Description
To the NE of the centre of ringfort (WI034-003----) is a raised rectangular area (dims. 4m NE-SW; 6m NW-SE; H 0.4m), possibly a hut or house foundation. Description
Situated on a marked E-facing slope. Circular enclosure (diam. 28m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; H 1.4-1.8m) preserved in a field boundary at W. The remainder of the circumference is defined by a low scarp (H 0.2-0.6m). The drystone revetment on the outer side of the bank appears to be modern as is the field drain (Wth 1.2m) which skirts the bank. No other indication of a fosse or entrance. A slight scarp (H 0.3m) extends E-W through the centre of the enclosure.
