  Description

  Internal diam. c. 20m. There is no trace of the remains of a cashel described by Davies. Only half the circular wall was visible then, rising just above the grass. A 'Cave' reported nearby would appear to have been natural. Modern quarrying has destroyed the site. It was located on top of a prominent rock, precipitous to the N but sloping gently to the S. Two fields to the SW, there is a bullaun stone. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'   Description

  The evidence for this record appears to be based on the existence of the name 'Stone House (site of)' in antiquarian typeface on the OS 6-inch map. It would appear to have been added at the time of the OS 25-inch survey in 1905.

  Description

  Internal diam. 23m. A circular area enclosed by an earthen bank with an external fosse, only vaguely traceable in places. The site is badly overgrown and cut into by modern fences, some parts of the banks having been removed altogether. The surrounding land is poor and marshy with the Leitrim mountains rising a short distance to the S. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.   Description

  Three-arch road bridge over the Drowes River, built c.1820, with random coursed stone, cut stone voussoirs to arch-rings and full-height up and downstream V-cutwaters. Plaque dedicated to The Four Masters on parapet, erected in 1975.

• The Four Masters Bridge, bridge, 1760–1810 · Regional interest
  Description

  Triple-arched bridge carrying road over the Drowes River, built c. 1780, having V-profile rubble stone cutwaters to the piers to both elevations, brought up level with parapet coping. Segmental-headed arches having dressed cut stone voussoirs, and with squared rubble stone construction to arch barrels. Rubble stone construction to piers, spandrels and parapets with cement coping over parapets. Copper and stone monument commemorating the writing of the Annals of the Four Masters to centre of one parapet. Rubble stone wing walls to either end of parapets; modern repairs in places. Tarmacadam deck. Located to the south-east of Bundoran. Bridge spans border with County Leitrim to the south.

  Description

  Double-arched bridge carrying road over the Bradoge River, built c. 1790, having cutwater to central pier. Slightly hump-backed. Round-headed arches having cut stone voussoirs to arches and with rubble stone construction to arch barrels. Roughly squared rubble stone construction to spandrels, pier, and parapets with random rubble stone coping over. Roughly dressed cut stone cutwater to central pier; modern service/water pipe to the south-east elevation with modern blockwork repairs to head of cutwater. Tarmacadam deck with grass verges. Located in the rural countryside to the south-east of Bundoran.
