  Description

  In level pasture. Circular area (45m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 2m) with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 1.4m). Break (Wth 2m) in bank at W.   Description

  In level pasture. D-shaped area (c. 40m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.2m; Wth 1m) with external fosse (D 1m; Wth 1.4m) SW->NE. Causeway entrance (Wth 5.2m) at N. Enclosing element replaced by field boundaries on E and S sides. Low earthen bank, running along outer edge of fosse SW->WNW, is probably relic field boundary.   National monument No. 538. In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 0.65m) with an external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 1.5m).   In pasture, on W-facing slope. Marked as 'burial ground for children' in 1841 OS 6-inch map and indicated, with broken line, as horseshoe-shaped area in SE quadrant of rectangular field. This field, which is enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 1.4m), is now inaccessible due to dense overgrowth except on W side where there is a small pond.   Description

  In rough pasture, on SSW-facing slope. Enclosing element is largely masked by dense overgrowth but consists of earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.2m) at ESE and scarped edge (H 1.6m; Wth 5.7m) at SW, with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 1.65m) SSW->WSW. These enclose a circular area (diam. 33m). Interior is covered by dense thicket of thorn and briars. Fosse is littered with loose stones. A field boundary runs along outer edge of fosse SSW->NNW.
