Description
In slightly elevated generally marshy terrain, on NE side of stream. Circular area (22.5m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.1m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 3.5m) W->S, and defined by scarped edge S->W (this area impenetrable due to dense overgrowth). Entrance at NNW where break in bank (Wth 2m) corresponds with causeway across fosse. Interior surface is uneven and marshy. Field boundary skirts enclosure on N and E sides; just beyond enclosure to W is sharp natural fall in ground level. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011

Description
On N-facing slope, in low-lying area of mixed pasture and marsh. Oval area (19m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse; fosse and outer bank overlain/replaced by field boundary SW->NE (this area obscured by dense overgrowth of trees and bushes). Inner bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.3m) has break (Wth 0.6m) at NE but no corresponding break in outer bank. Fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 4.2m) flat-bottomed and boggy, especially on W side. Description
In undulating pasture, on gentle SW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 2.5m), with external fosse (D 0.2m; Wth 1.35m) SW->SE. Inner bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.2m) and outer bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.1m) have corresponding break (Wth c. 4m) and causeway over fosse at SSW. Description
In low-lying marshy terrain, on W side of stream. Oval area (22m N-S; 32.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 2m), with very shallow external fosse (D c. 0.1m; Wth c. 2m) SE->NW, and with stream immediately outside bank NW->SE. Break (Wth c. 5m) in bank at NNE faces directly onto stream, but no other entrance evident. Interior slopes down gently to NE following line of surrounding terrain. Description
In pasture, atop low rise; site bordered on two sides by streams flowing north which meet short distance to N of site. Formerly circular area (diam. 18m E-W) has been truncated on S side by an E-W field boundary leaving D-shaped area (18m E-W; 15.5m N-S) defined by scarped edge (H 0.75m; Wth 3m) SW->SE, and otherwise enclosed by the field boundary.
