  Description

  In pasture, on slight W-facing slope. Circular area (25.8m N-S; 26.1m E-W) defined by steeply scarped edge (H 1.25m; Wth 0.3m) with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 0.9m); enclosing element covered by briars and bushes. Gaps across scarp at NW (Wth 2m) and SW (Wth 1.2m). A N-S running field boundary abuts outer edge of fosse at NE and SSE. Interior level, damp and under pasture, with large quarry depression (10.4m N-S; 6m E-W; D 0.7m) in SW quadrant.   In level pasture, on crest of low broad rise. Circular area (22.3m N-S; 21.7m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.9m; Wth 0.95m) with external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth 3.2m).   Description

  In level pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 1.4m) with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 2.1m). Bank overlain by field boundary NE->SW, with boundaries abutting it at NE, ENE, SSE and SW. There is a pond (4m N-S; 8m E-W) in fosse at NNE. Interior level and except for small area at N verge covered by dense overgrowth.   Description

  In pasture, on slight W-facing slope. Formerly circular enclosure is now bisected by field boundary travelling on SE-NW axis. There is no visible surface trace of any archaeological features on SW side of boundary. On NE side of boundary a scarped edge (H 0.6m; Wth 0.4m) encloses D-shaped area (10.2m N-S; 13.7m E-W) W->SE, which is otherwise defined by field boundary. Immediately outside scarp is external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 2.3m). Causeway entrance (Wth 2.35m) at WNW. Interior is level and under pasture, but there are patches of overgrowth covering top of scarp.   Description

  In level pasture. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark on aerial photograph (LAS) is now evident as circular area 26m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by scarped edge (Wth 2m; H 0.25m) with possible remains of fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.15m) W-E.   Description

  In level pasture. Roughly rectangular area (45m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by scarped edge (Wth 3.5m; H 0.35m) except at s end where truncated by E-W field boundary and NE-E where it appears to be overlaid by another enclosure (LI039-199----).
