  Annotated ‘Ice Ho.’ on the last edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map where it is shown standing in woodland, 40m east of the River Liffey.  Standing on the demesne lands of St. Edmondsbury House (NIAH Reg. No. 11202003 ) located 110m to the south-east. Depicted as a circular-shaped structure on the 1863 edition of the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map. Not depicted on the 1837 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map.   Carved limestone memorial slab, dated 1807, set into limestone rubble wall. Inscription to main panel, with low relief religious imagery to pediment.

  Single-stage weir, c.1775. Upstream sluice and sluice gates on south side of the river.

• St Edmondsbury Hospital, country house, 1730–1750 · Regional interest
  Description

  Detached multiple-bay two-storey over basement house, c.1740, with projecting Doric entrance portico. Rendered, ruled and lined walls with quoins and balustraded parapet. Various replacement windows, set beneath bracketed pediments to ground floor, and within segmental-headed openings having carved timber decoration to first floor. Hipped slate roof with lead flashing. Substantially extended and altered, in the early nineteenth century, and again, c.1986. Now in use as psychiatric hospital.

  Detached two-bay two-storey house, c.1910. Roughcast rendered walls with bipartite and tripartite timber casement windows. Canted bay windows to three sides. Glazed timber door with projecting flat timber canopy. Hipped slate roof with central ball finial and two chimney stacks. Small ground floor extension to north with corrugated iron lean-to roof. White-washed stable block in yard with single timber sash window to west gable end and pitched corrugated iron roof.

  Walled garden, c.1825, with uncoursed rubble limestone boundary wall to south and east, and brick walls retaining patches of lime mortar to north and west. Gateways with granite surrounds and cast-iron gates in north wall. Remnants of lean-to structures to north.

  Description

  Detached multiple-bay double-height cattle barn, c.1880, with various later pitched-roofed extensions. Rubble stone walls retaining patches of render, with assorted small openings. Large round-headed archways with brick reveals running through each end. Corrugated iron roof on steel trusses. Dovecote to eastern end. Barn currently unused.

  Detached irregular-bay double-height former byre, c.1870. Roughcast rendered walls with various window openings, some blocked, some with timber ventilation slats. Plain doorways to south and east walls. Pitched slate roof with ventilators to ridge. Remnants of stalls and hay loft to interior.

  Detached two-bay single-storey with attic former gate lodge, c.1860, on an L-plan, with lean-to projection to rere. Roughcast rendered walls with square-headed window openings having granite sills, now blocked, and pair of blind arches to gable end. Projecting gabled timber porch around timber door. Pitched slate roof with two rendered chimney stacks. Rendered, ruled and lined screen wall with rusticated gate posts surmounted by eagles. Flanking pedestrian gateways with cast-iron gates. Cast-iron wall-mounted post box facing street.
