NOTE OUTSIDE DCC JURISDICTION: The log cabin at the back garden , size (m) 5.9 x 3.3 = 19.47 sq. mt. , side wall height 2200 mm. ridge heigth 2200 mm , wall log 45 mm Was built in July 2024. I use it as my art studio and also for art classes for children , from the age 4 to 11. I am teaching myself and the most children in the groups are 10. The structure of the cabin is in accordance with the planning rules however I have been told by Paul Byrne in the planning department that I need to apply for the retention due to fact that cabin is used for the business purposes. The classes run on Monday 4 to 7 pm, Tuesday 4 to 5 pm, Wednesday 5 to 6 pm, Thursday 4 to 7 pm , and every second Sunday (adults) I have a public liability insurance, fire regulation and all necessary regulations and safety measure on place You are welcome to come and check the site . Description
St Paul's Well in the parish of Tallaght is located E of Killinarden in a field that was under rape seed at the time of inspection. This is a natural spring well dedicated to St Paul and called Tober Phoil (Ó Danachair 1958, 86; Hegarty 1939, 70; Herity 2001, 38). The spring has been piped leaving no visible trace above ground. Description
Located in steeply sloping, uneven ground at the foot of the Dublin Mountains. Named on the 1843 OS 6-inch map as a large oval enclosure. There is a low earthen mound at the site with thorn bushes growing on it (dims. 13m NE-SW; 12.5m NW-SE; H 0.6-1.2m). This is probably the 'moat' which had nearly disappeared in 1876 (Handcock 1991, 46, 3rd ed. ).
