Description
On a glacial ridge in undulating grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1932) as an arc of hachures curving from N to SE. According to local tradition, this was the site of a 'fort'. Description
On a rise in otherwise low-lying grassland. Poorly preserved originally circular rath (D c. 40m) defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank from S to W. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. Field banks cut the monument at W and S. A CBG (GA017-102001-) lies within the interior. Description
On a rise in low-lying grassland. A small roughly circular mound (D 26m, H 2.5m), the E section of which has been quarried out revealing a gravelly core. This is now filled with field clearance. A small relatively modern stone-built hut abuts it at S and tree stumps are piled around the perimeter.
