In pastureland some 90m to the W of the Cannahowna River. Marked on the OS maps as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 28m). No visible surface trace survives. Description
On the NW-facing slope of a hill. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (c. 26m NW-SE) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (Wth 2m; base Wth 5.3; int. H 0.3-0.7m; ext. H 0.2-1.7m) which is visible all round. The interior slopes from SE to NW. A souterrain (GA122-049001-) lies in the W sector. Description
Within the W sector of a cashel (GA122-049----). This collapsed souterrain is indicated by an L-shaped depression (L >15m). The long axis (L 11m; Wth 2.9m) runs NE-SW and the short axis (L 4m) extends from its SE end and runs NW-SE. Description
Within the WNW sector of a cashel (GA128-035----). This largely collapsed drystone-built souterrain (L >18.2m) is L-shaped in plan. The shorter axis (L 8m; Wth 1.2m; max. H 0.7) runs E-W and the longer axis (L 10.2m; Wth 2.2m; max. H 0.6) extends from its NW end and runs N-S. Access is gained at the E end. Description
Single-arch limestone railway bridge, built 1869, carrying road over Ennis-Athenry railway line. Rock-faced rusticated walls and abutments. Elliptical arch with rusticated tooled voussoirs with margins, and ashlar soffit. Dressed copings to abutments. Recent concrete copings added to parapet walls.
