  In pasture, on gentle SW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope, c. 90m to NNE of levelled circular enclosure (CO027-074---). Circular area (diam. c. 35m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.6m) partially planted with deciduous trees. Intervening fosse U-shaped in profile. Outer bank (H 1.6m) skirted by shallow fosse (D 0.3m) on S side.   In pasture, to S of road. Discovered in 1975 during excavations for building. Investigated by C.J.F. McCarthy who described single stone-built beehive chamber (diam. 3.35m ; H 2.43m) with two passages leading from it; site closed shortly after discovery (McCarthy 1977, 259).
