  Description

  Roadside bleaching complex 1.5km SE of Dunmanway on tributary of Bandon river. Long 2-storey gabled building, part residential, part storage; W end added. Bleach green to NE. Remains of rectangular structure (L 13.15m; Wth 6.4m) straddles stream to SE which is known locally as "bleach mill". • The Long Bridge, bridge, 1800–1840 · Regional interest
  Description

  Multiple-arch road bridge, built c.1820, spanning Bandon River. Recently widened to the south. Round-headed arches having rubble limestone voussoirs and soffits to north elevation. Square-headed openings to widened south elevation having concrete walling and lintels. Rubble limestone wall to north elevation with V-cutwaters rising to parapets with solider and crenellated copings, having square-profile coursed red brick piers to southern parapet.

  Description

  Multiple-span cast-iron railway bridge over river, erected c.1890, on site of earlier bridge, c.1860, now disused. Cast-iron Doric columns supporting cast-iron cross beams and riveted parapet panels. Retaining tracks in situ.
