Description
In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.4m), with external fosse (D 0.7m). Gap (Wth 1.6m) in bank to E. Causeway crosses fosse to SSE. Interior heavily overgrown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
