  Description

  Situated on W facing slope of natural hillock in upland area. Large circular area (diam 70m E-W) enclosed by an inner bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 2.5m) of mainly stone construction destroyed by a modern road from W to N, outer fosse (Wth 1.5 - 2.5m; ext. D 0.4m) also destroyed by the road with an external bank (Wth 3m) only visible from E through S to SW. The interior of the site follows the natural slope of the hillock. Possible entrance gap (Wth 1.5m) at E. Large quarry pit in the W sector of the interior.   Description

  Situated on a natural rise in undulating countryside with nearby ringfort (OF038-023----) to the E. Large circular area (diam 53m E-W) defined by a poorly preserved inner fosse (Wth 1m) visible only from E to S with outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 1.5m; int. H 0.3m) of stone construction surviving as a field boundary from E through S to SW elsewhere it is degraded to a scarp. No evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature.   Description

  All that remains of this destroyed ringfort is the S portion of the enclosing earthen bank which now acts as a field fence and possible external fosse. Impossible to examine these features due to dense overgrowth. No other features visible. Situated on high ground in upland area. Depicted as irregular shaped enclosure on 1912 edition of the OS 6-inch map.   Description

  Situated on NW facing slope of rising ground in upland area. Remains of a circular area (diam 27m) enclosed by a bank mainly reduced to a scarp (ext. H 1.5m) with slight evidence of an external fosse. Field fence intersects site from E to S where original enclosing bank still survives.
