Description
Freestanding four-bay mortuary chapel, built 1913. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles and concrete skewed gables with moulded brick cornice to eaves holding half-round cast-iron rainwater goods. English garden wall-bonded red brick walls with moulded yellow brick projecting base and yellow brick block-and-start quoins. Pointed-arch window and door openings. Windows have timber lattice glazing and slope-topped stone sills with galvanised steel security grills to exterior. Double-leaf timber battened door to each gable with ornate iron strap hinges, and concrete steps. East-facing sloped graveyard, earliest memorial being apparently 1874, but others mainly twentieth-century limestone or polished granite memorials with stone kerbs around grave plots. Some more decorative late nineteenth-century stone monuments also and one cast-iron memorial with cast-iron railed plot. Coursed rubble limestone boundary wall to east, road, side with barrel-topped stone capping and square ashlar piers with pyramidal caps to recessed central cast-iron vehicular and attached pedestrian gate. Gateway provides access to hard-surfaced path with late twentieth-century stone retaining walls. Stone-terraced lawn area in front of chapel. Other boundaries are earth and stone ditches with rough hedges and trees.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1880, facing south, having single-storey entrance porch with canted first floor window over, gabled two-bay two-storey and single-bay two-storey lean-to extensions at rear, with further single and two-storey outbuildings forming enclosed rear yard. Hipped slate roof with black clay ridge tiles, slightly sprocketed eaves, late twentieth-century rooflights on rear and side elevations, two red brick chimneystacks either side of central bay on ridge having over-sailing brick courses and dark vitrified brick stripe, and stepped brick cornice with brick corbels holding ogee-profile cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted roughcast rendered walls with rusticated smooth render block-and-start quoins and flat smooth render frames around window openings. Smooth render to ground floor main entrance porch which has moulded render entablature surmounted by ornate wrought-iron brattishing and square-headed windows to side walls. Square-headed window openings throughout with painted stone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash frames with mixture of chamfered and ogee horns. Window over porch has half-pyramidal slate roof with rolled lead ridges and similar sash windows separated by plain timber mullions. Tudor-arch entrance doorway with panelled timber door, overlight and sidelights with painted stone sills. Walls to rear yard are smooth rendered externally and mostly roughcast rendered internally, and yard entered through ornate double-leaf wrought-iron gate set to rendered square-plan piers. House situated in lawned garden surrounded by mature trees with winding hard surfaced avenue leading from widened entrance in roughcast rendered garden wall with original width ornate double-leaf wrought-iron gate on ornate cast-iron posts. Modern farm buildings to rear of site.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, dated 1877, having projecting lean-to porch, box-bay to west elevation, single-bay two-storey pitched roofed extension to rear of west elevation and two-bay two-storey catslide extension to east side of north elevation. Further single-storey lean-to extensions and brick wall enclose small rear yard. Half-hipped roof with slate to rear elevations and fibre-cement slates to front, lead ridges, smooth cement rendered chimneystacks with concrete caps, catslide roofed lucarne to front façade and overhanging eaves with exposed carved timber rafter and purlin ends and chamfered, pierced decorative timber bargeboards. Flemish-bonded red brick walls, with chamfered sandstone square-headed band incorporating window heads to first floor windows at west end of front, latter having pointed polychrome brick relieving arches over and with tumbled brick to panels beneath arches. Similar relieving arches to ground floor of east end bay of front. Other window openings have yellow brick lintels. Brick buttress to west elevation. Carved limestone plaque set into pointed arch niche with polychrome voussoirs, having date '1877' set within carved quatrefoil detail. Roughcast rendered rear walls. Square-headed window frames with stone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sashes with ogee horns. Box-bay window has apparently recent one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, tall sprocketed slate roof with decorative diamond patterned slate cladding, over brick plinth wall. Pointed segmental-arch entrance doorway having polychrome brick voussoirs with ashlar stone springings, partly glazed chamfered timber panelled double-leaf door with overlights and sidelights, all within moulded timber frame. House situated in lawned garden surrounded by mature trees with winding hard surfaced avenue leading from entrance gateway in snecked squared rubble stone garden wall with wrought-iron double-leaf gate set to square-plan dressed limestone piers having pyramidal stone caps.

Description
Cast-iron memorial, dated 1874, comprising upright panel with trefoil-headed top, supported at each end by decorative cast-iron brackets. Brackets are curvilinear with scroll devices. Vegetal details and rope mouldings to memorial. Panel has high-relief cast lettering to top, with more within garland to middle of panel, and with two further inscriptions on added panels that are bolted onto memorial. Stands within rectangular enclosure having decorative cast-iron spearhead railings with pineapple finials to corners on cut limestone plinth walls.
