  Description

  In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (33.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with an intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.55m) has gaps at SE (Wth 3.6m) and NW (Wth 2.7m). Flat-topped outer bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.6m) is higher internally W->E (int. H 2.15m to base of fosse) and is covered with dense overgrowth. No definite gap in outer bank but a slight lowering occurs at SE opposite gap in inner bank. Fosse (Wth 3.5m) has marshy base and narrows to 2m SW->WNW.   Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope immediately below brow of hill. Roughly circular area (55m N-S; 49.5m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with an intervening fosse. Inner bank most substantial S->W (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 3.1m). Outer bank (int. H 1.75m; ext. H 0.4m) separated from inner bank by deep fosse (Wth 2.2m). Breaks in inner bank at E (Wth 6.5m) and causeway entrance at S (Wth 6.5m). Outer bank has been eroded by cattle at S. A public road runs immediately outside enclosing element at W.   Description

  In pasture, atop hill with panoramic views. Circular area (34.5m N-S) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with an intervening and outer fosse. Inner bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 3.4m) overgrown with gorse bushes SW->NE and denuded E->SE. Outer bank (int. H 2.05m; ext. H 1.1m) is covered by dense overgrowth except for section E->SSW. Breaks in outer bank at ENE (Wth c. 2m) and at S (Wth 8m). Wide intervening fosse (Wth 4.2m), covered by overgrowth SSW->E. Outer fosse (Wth 0.9m; D 0.35m) evident S->SE. Field boundaries, indicated on 1923 OS 6-inch map abutting site at NW, NE and S, have been levelled. There is a disused quarry immediately to E, and a coniferous plantation 50m to W.
