  Description

  Raised circular area (int. dims. 56m E-W; 55m N-S) enclosed by two earthen banks with wide, deep intermediate fosse. Although the perimeter has been ploughed out from NW-W-SW, its outline is still clearly identifiable. Original entrance may have been at WSW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
