Description
On a rise in rough pastureland. Subcircular rath (52.5m N-S; 51m E-W), in fair condition, defined by a bank from NNW through E to S and elsewhere by a low scarp. Opposing gaps are evident at N and S: that at N (Wth 4m) is modern but that at S (Wth 1.9m) may be original. Description
In marshy scrubland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (42m N-S; 39m E-W) defined by a scarp and external fosse; the latter only survives from SW to NW. A field wall cuts across the monument at SE and SW and no visible surface trace of the scarp survives to the S of it. There is a souterrain (GA116-066001-) in the NW quadrant of the interior. In the W sector of the interior of a rath (GA116-066----). An L-shaped hollow (L c. 20m; Wth 2.5m; D 1m) may mark the site of a collapsed souterrain.
