Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of the E-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Circular grass and stone-covered area (diam. c. 40m) defined by a scarp (H 0.3-1m) which has been modified by quarrying and which may have been surrounded by a drystone wall. Description
On a low rise. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 40.3m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.35-6.7m; int. H 0.2m at E to 1m at W; ext. H 1.55-1.8m) SW-N-SE and a scarp (H 2.1m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 7.7-8m; Wth of base 3-4m; D 0.6m at S to 1.15m at W) and outer bank (Wth 3.2-3.7m; H 0.7-1m) SE-N. There is an entrance (Wth 6m), which has probably been widened, at ENE, and a quarry in the W part of the interior. Description
On the N-facing slope of a low rise in a low-lying landscape. Rectangular overgrown, flat-topped cairn (dims 4.2m N-S; 3m E-W; H 0.1m at S to 0.38m at N) with an uninscribed flat slab (dims 1.17m E-W; 0.73m N-S; T 0.15m) set horizontally at its N edge. Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in a low-lying position, just N of a SW-NE stream. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 31m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. Description
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular wooded feature (diam. c. 25m), and situated on a low rise in an undulating landscape. Circular platform (diam. 24m; H 0.3-0.5m) planted with mature deciduous and young coniferous trees defined by a fosse (Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.5m), and an outer bank (Wth 2m; ext.
