  Description

  On a rise in low-lying pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 255, no. 2) as a circular ‘Earthen fort’ (diam. 47m) defined by a bank which was destroyed at N, S and partially at E. Faint traces of a bank are visible from NE through E to S, otherwise no visible surface trace survives. A children's burial ground (GA105-055001-) lies within the interior.   Description

  This rectangular graveyard (c. 58m NE-SW; c. 51m NW-SE) is associated with a medieval church (GA105-056001-). It is enclosed by a stone wall and access is gained at the SE corner. On inspection only one graveslab of possible 18th-century date was noted, beside the S wall of the church, all the rest all dated to the 19th century.   Description

  In low-lying pastureland. This medieval church (12.5m E-W; 5m N-S) is poorly preserved. The W gable and most of N and S side-walls survive. Apart from the corners, there is no visible surface trace of the E gable. The main architectural features include a pointed-arch doorway at the W end of S side-wall, to the E of which another blocked-up doorway is evident. There are two robbed-out windows and traces of a possible third one in this wall as well as one robbed-out window in the N side-wall. The interior is heavily overgrown and a 20th-century cross has been erected in its centre.   Description

  In open pastureland. A poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 36m) defined by a stone-faced bank of earth and stone which survives intermittently and is surrounded by a berm-like feature from NE through E to SW. McCaffrey (1952, 256, no. 6) noted an ‘almost completely filled up’ fosse; no visible surface trace of it survives. A possible souterrain (GA105-057001-) is associated.   Description

  According to McCaffrey (1952, 256, no. 6), a heap of earth and stones in the centre of the interior of the rath (GA105-057----) may have marked 'the spoil of a ravished souterrain’, as local people spoke of a ‘souterrain’ in the interior.
