Description
In improved pasture, gently undulating pasture, on a gentle NW-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 17m N-S; 16m E-W) defined by low bank (Wth 4.25-6.05m; int. H 0.18-0.85m; ext. H 0.75-0.85m), fosse (overall Wth 8.25m; basal Wth 5m; D 0.4m) WNW-NW and N-E-S and outer bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.15m) WNW-NW and N-SSE. The inner bank is best defined at SSE-SSW and there is a break (Wth 5m) at SSE and less intrusive gap (Wth 3.2m) at W. The outer bank has a gap (Wth 5.2m) at ENE. Field boundary truncates monument across SW-sector and remains of levelled field boundary appear to truncate outer bank across S-arc. Interior is grass covered and contains ring-barrow (TS066-125001-) off-centre to N. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011

Description

A sunken, circular area (dims 4m N-S; 3.9m E-W) defined by a fosse (Wth 1.55-2.15m; D 0.1-0.2m), crescent-shaped berm or very low outer bank (Wth 1.75m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.05m) N-E-S, which has a corresponding outer fosse (Wth 1.65m; D 0.15m). The iterior is level and grass covered. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011

Description
In improved pasture, on a gentle ENE-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 30m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by remains of low scarp (Wth 1.7m; H 0.75m) best preserved NE-S-SW and more gradual (Wth 2.75m; H 0.3m) and levelled out SW-W-N-NE. Wide, flat-bottomed intervening fosse (basal Wth 3.3m; overall Wth 6.25m; H 0.25m) is best preserved NE-S-SW and has been backfilled and is more gradual (basal Wth 3.85m; overall Wth 8.3m; D 0.15m) SW-W-N-NE. An outer bank (top Wth 2.4m; overall Wth 5.4m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.65m) is present ENE-S-SW and stops abruptly at either end, where it has been truncated during the levelling process of the bank SW-W-N-NE. Potential remains of levelled bank NE-ENE appear to be preserved due to dog-leg in field boundary here. Interior level and featureless and tilts downslope slightly to ENE with prevalent slope. Interior ground level reduced D c. 0.25m around SW-arc and into SW-sector. There may have been an outer fosse, but earthen material (possibly from the levelled half of monument) has been banked up in places on exterior and interior of bank, encroaching into the intervening fosse and any potential outer fosse. H 0.2m) SSE-S-SSW and an external fosse (Wth 2.9-4.15m; D 0.2-0.3m) ENE-S-NW. Probable entrance (Wth 4m) at NNW. Interior has gentle NNW-facing slope and is planted with occasional deciduous trees; briars in SE-quadrant. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011

Description
In improved pasture, on a steep NW-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 30m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by low bank (Wth 4.45m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.6m) E-S-NW which has been badly eroded and denuded by cattle. Bank has generally been reduced to scarp (Wth 4.05m; H 1.75m) NW-N-E on the downslope. Interior slopes down steeply to NW with prevalent slope. Ring-barrow (TS066-133001-) is off-centre to SW, within the interior. Low and denuded field boundary (long axis generally NW-SE) merges with exterior of bank at SSW. A second similar field boundary extends (long-axis NW-SE) from exterior of bank at SSE. Description
In pasture. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 10m) defined by a fosse, visible on satellite imagery (© Google Earth, imagery date 18 November 2020), identified and reported by Jean-Charles Caillère. The size of the enclosure and the relatively high concentration of barrows in the area suggests that this is a barrow.
