Description
On level ground surrounding, but concentrated mainly to the NE of a castle (GA096-047----). A complex of small rectangular fields (28m by 18m max.) occupying an area c. 250m NE-SW by c. 200m are defined by low grassed-over stony banks. Several small rectangular houses (GA096-0181001-) are contained within the fields. The complex also contains a possible enclosure (GA096-182----). Description
Within a field system (GA096-181----). All that survives is the arc of a curving wall (L 7m) which is defined by large stones facing a grassed-over rubble core (Wth 3.2m). Description
Single-arch sandstone bridge carrying road over Dooyeriha River, built c.1820. Cut limestone walls with rock-faced rusticated copings to rusticated parapet walls. Segmental arch with rock-faced rusticated voussoirs. Ashlar soffit, rusticated piers, rubble stone revetments to river banks.
