Description
Abutting ringfort (GA029-074----) at SSW. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as an enclosed rectangular area; only NW and SE sides now survive (NW-SE 16m, NE-SW 13m). These are defined by a low bank, which runs along the outer edge of the fosse on NW side. The interior is level and grass-covered and no visible surface trace of any grave-markers survives. On a S-facing slope in rolling grassland. Rectangular enclosure (NE-SW 17.5m, NW-SE 16.8m), in fair condition, defined by a bank of earth and stone. There is a gap in the bank in W corner. The E half of the interior has been quarried out, exposing burnt stone and dark soil along its SE edge.
