Description
On a hillock in otherwise level grassland. Very poorly preserved circular rath (D 47m) cut a field wall at NW and NE. It is defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank, but no visible surface trace survives to N of the wall. An enclosure (GA030-111----) lies immediately to E. Description
Immediately E of a ringfort (GA030-110----). Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1931) as N half of a circular enclosure (D c. 40m). No visible surface trace survives. Description
On an E-facing slope in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 37m) defined by a bank which survives from NNE through E to SSW. A field bank overlies the enclosing element at N. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at W. Either of two gaps at NE and SE could be original. On a rise in undulating grassland. Subcircular ringfort (E-W 40.3m, N-S 34m), in fair condition, defined by a stone-faces bank and intervening fosse with traces of a possible outer bank at S. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at NE and SW. A field wall overlies the enclosing elements at S.
