Description
Situated towards the bottom of a gentle E-facing slope. This is a grass-covered D-shaped or sub-rectangular platform (dims 20.5m E-W; 19m N-S; H 0.7m) defined by a round-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6-6.6m; D 0.2m) truncated slightly by a field bank at N, beyond which there is no evidence of the monument. The original entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). - LE025-037 Ringfort - rath
Description
Situated in a col between drumlins to the E, W and S with slightly lower ground immediately to the N and S. It is described as a 'fort' bisected by a N-S road on the 1835 and 1944 editions of the OS 6-inch map. It is a circular area (diam. 35.4m E-W; c. 33m N-S) bisected by a N-S roadway and defined by an earthen bank (at E: Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.6m; ext. H 2.2m) and external fosse (Wth at base 2.5m; D. 1m) to the E of the road, and by a slight fosse (Wth of top c. 6m; int. D 0.2-0.4m; ext. D 0.1-0.2m) to the W. It is planted with mixed woodland to the E of the road and is in pasture to the W. Archaeological testing (04E1061) outside the perimeter at NE in Cannaboe townland produced no related material (Henry 2007). Description
Located on a N-facing slope within Ballinamore, it was on the street outside McAllister's Hotel until it was moved to a back-garden. It is marked only on the 1912 edition of the OS 6-inch map, and described as a stone '5 feet 8 inches high' (H c. 1.8m) and with a girth or circumference of '10 feet 6 inches' (c. 3.2m ) (OSFM). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). Terraced three-bay two-storey house, built c.1860, with return and 1980s timber shopfront of disused shop. Pitched tiled roof with skylights and rendered and brick chimneystacks. Rendered walls, ruled-and-lined to first floor. Sill course to first floor. Timber sash windows with stucco surrounds. Replacement timber door with overlight and stucco surround.

Description
Terraced four-bay three-storey former hotel, built c.1870, now used as a bar with private accommodation. Replacement pubfront, projecting entrance porch to east end and extensions to rear. Pitched tiled roof with brick chimneystacks. Rendered walls with quoins and string course. Alternate single and tripartite timber sash windows to upper floors, six over six to first floor and two over two to second, all with painted stucco surrounds. Replacement uPVC windows to rear. Glazed and timber panelled entrance door.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1930, with projecting canted end bay to facade. Hipped slate roof with over-sailing eaves, ridge tiles and rendered chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls. Flat-roofed glazed timber porch with timber panelled door. Timber doors to side elevations with overlights. Timber casement windows. Site bounded by rendered wall. Wrought-iron gates to entrance.

Detached two-bay two-storey former station master's house abutted by five-bay single-storey former railway station, built c.1885, now used as a community school and private residence. M-profile slate roof to house and pitched slate roof to station with terracotta ridge cresting and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered chimneystacks with terracotta pots. Red brick walls with vitrified and yellow brick dressings and segmental-headed openings. Replacement uPVC windows with yellow-brick hood mouldings and with stone sills. Windbreak with pitched tiled roof to entrance door of house. Timber glazed door with overlight. Single-storey flat-roofed extension to rear.

Detached seven-bay single-storey former railway shed, built c.1885, now used by a school. Flat roof hidden by cornice. Random dressed coursed stone façade with segmental-headed brick-arched openings. Rendered modernised rear wall with modern window openings. Replacement uPVC windows to facade. Timber battened door.

Detached four-bay single-storey gable-fronted former goods shed, built c.1885, now used as part of a school. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles. Random coursed stone walls with brick barge courses to gables. Original doorways in long walls now blocked and have modern windows inserted. Segmental-headed window openingswith replacement uPVC windows in long walls. Present doorway and window inserted into southwest gable.
