On low-lying ground c. 80m from the W shore of Lough Rogers. First identified by J. Fletcher. Oval grass and rush-covered area (dims. 14.3m E-W; 10.3m N-S) defined by a grass-covered, flat-topped bank (Wth of base 6.2m-7.8m; Wth of top 2.1m-3.2m; int. H 0.6m-0.7m; ext. Description
In a slight col between low drumlins to the NW and SE. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 47.4m NW-SE; 44.5m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-6m; int. H 0.2-0.7m; ext. H 0.5m generally to 1m at W) with a few bushes. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but there is an old quarry outside the perimeter at NW. Marked on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the SW shore of the subrectangular Lough Rogers (dims c. 270m NW-SE; c. 180m NE-SW).
