  Description

  On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 57m N-S; 54m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4m) N-NE which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.3m) elsewhere, separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5m at SW to 7m at W; Wth of base 3.5m generally to 5m at S) from an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.8-7.5m; int. H 0.6-1.5m; ext. H 0.6-1.5m). There is a second fosse (Wth of base 3.7-4.5m; D 0.2m) at SW and N-E, which is also visible as a band of lush vegetation (Wth 3m) SW-NW. A third outer bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.7m) survives NE-ENE, but there is no visible entrance. A NE-SW field bank truncates all the features at SE except the central platform.   Description

  Towards the bottom of an E-facing slope. Oval overgrown area (diam. 38m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1-1.7m) and an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.8m generally to 4.4m at E; D 0.15m at E to 0.7m at S) E-S-NNW, but the perimeter is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) elsewhere and the fosse is re-cut as a field drain SW-NW.   Description

  On a N-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 43m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by a gapped and overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.2-5.7m; int H 0.5-1m; ext. H 1-1.9m) ENE-S-NW which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.4m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.6m at W to 4.5m at S; D 0.4-0.9m) NE-S-W. There is no visible entrance, and the perimeter at N is partly quarried. Rath (RO017-018----) is c. 110m to the SW and rath (RO017-020----) is c. 150m to the SE.   Description

  Marked as a circular feature on an undated estate map in NLI (ms. 19,022 (1)), and situated on a low E-W drumlin ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 37.5m E-W; 34m N-S) defined by a low scarp (H 0.7m). It is circumscribed by a field bank SW-N.
