  Description

  Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 40m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch maps, and situated on a shelf overlooking Lough Croan turlough c. 450m to the NE.   Description

  At the SE shore of Lough Croan turlough (dims c. 3 km NW-SE; c. 200-300m NE-SW). Oval grass-covered mound (dims 28m N-S; 23.5m E-W) with a flat top (dims 12m N-S; 9m E-W; H 1.6-1.8m).   Description

  In low-lying pasture near the former W-shore of Lough Croan (a turlough) in an area still liable to occasional flood. Reported by Jean-Charles Caillere. Visible on Google Earth aerial imagery (16-3-2011) as a circular enclosure (est. diam. c. 20m) defined by a fosse (est. Wth c. 2-3m). A crannog (RO044-094----) lies c. 110m to the SE. • RO047-031 Crannog
  Description

  Marked on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in italic lettering as Inchnagreeve. It is located at the bulbous S end (diam. c. 500m) of Lough Croan which sometimes becomes a dry reed-covered basin. This is a flat-topped mound (diam. of base 14m; diam. of top 7m; H 0.4-0.7m) with some trees and a berm (Wth c. 5m) at its base. There is no evidence of artificial construction.
