Description
In a low-lying position on a NW-facing slope. It is depicted as a hachured feature only on the 1911 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 24m N-S) with some trees defined by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 8-10m; int. H 0.8m at N to 2m at SW-W; ext. H 0.8m at SW to 1.25m at N) with some bushes SSW-N-E, and a scarp down to the interior (H 1-1.9m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. It might be an old quarry. Description
At the crest of a slight W-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 42.5m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m at W to 6.8m at E; int. H 0.5-1.3m; ext. H 2m) and hedge WSW-N-SSE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.2-3m; D 0.3-0.55m) SW-N-SE. There is no visible entrance. Description
On a broad low hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.5m N-S; 28.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.45m) E-S, and elsewhere by an overgrown scarp (H 0.7m at N to 1.4m at S). There is no visible fosse or entrance. The perimeter is partly obscured by spoil, and circumscribed by a field bank W-N. Description
On the SE-facing slope of a low hill. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 32.5m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 1m at S to 1.75m at E; ext. H 1.9-2.25m), and an outer fosse (Wth of base 3-4m; D 0.2-0.4m) SW-WNW and NE-E. There is a widened entrance (Wth 4m) at ESE. Description
On a low rise in a hollow. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 46.5m E-W; 43.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-1.1m), with an outer fosse (Wth of top 8m; Wth of base 4m; ext. D 0.55m) NE-ENE. There is no visible entrance, but the perimeter is circumscribed by a field bank S-W. Rath (RO017-040----) is c. 170m to the N, and ceremonial enclosure (RO017-089001-) is c. 120m to the SW.
