  Description

  Towards the bottom of a N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 56m E-W; 55m N-S) defined by a flat-topped earth and stone bank (Wth of base 4.5-7m; Wth of top 1-2m; int. H 0.9-1.15m; ext. H 1.7-2.5m) and hedge, and a rounded fosse surviving NNE-SE (Wth of top 7m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.8m) and SW-NW (Wth of top 7m; Wth of base 3.5m; D 0.25m). There is a house platform (RO044-081002-) (dims 8.5m E-W; 5.5m N-S; H 0.3m) at the centre and another (RO044-081003-) (dims 6.4m NE-SW; 4.4m NW-SE) defined by a fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.2m) inside the perimeter at SE. • RO044-082001 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  At the crest of the NE-facing slope of a SE-NW spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 51.5m NE-SW; 47.2m NW-SE) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4-7m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 1.7-2m) with some bushes and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.4-6.8m; Wth of base 2-3.2m; D 0.4-0.9m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.3m) and causeway at SSE. An outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.2m) SW-N-E departs from the outer edge of the fosse at E to join the outer bank of rath (RO044-082003-) which is 5m to the SE. There is a quarry (dims 18m NW-SE; 13m NE-SW; D 1.4m) outside the fosse at SW (max. ext. dims 66m NE-SW; 59m NW-SE).   Description

  At the crest of the NE-facing slope of a SE-NW spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 33.5m NE-SW; 32.5m NW-SE) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.7-7m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2-1.8m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.5m) at SE, separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6-8m; Wth of base 1.5-3m; D 0.65-1m) from an outer bank (Wth 3-3.5m; ext. H 0.25-0.75m). The entrance (Wth 1.8m) and causeway are at NE, and there are lazy beds in the interior (max. ext. dims 49.5m NE-SW; 47m NW-SE). Rath (RO044-082001-) is c. 5m to the NW.
