  Description

  Towards the top of a N-facing slope with limestone outcrop. A grass and scrub-covered area of about 12 acres (c. 5 ha) has relict field walls defined by stone spreads (Wth c. 2m; H c. 0.5m) or earthen banks (Wth 1.5m; H 0.5m) forming subrectangular fields of c. 0.2 ha -1 ha. The fields are associated with lazy beds, a subrectangular enclosure (RO044-083005-) (int. dims 21m N-S; 10m E-W) and two house sites (RO044-083003-; RO044-083004-) (ext. dims 9m N-S; 5m E-W: 5m x 4m), and the field walls partly overlie cashel (RO044-083002-).   Description

  In mixed tillage and pasture. Reported by Jean-Charles Caillere. Visible on Google Earth aerial imagery (18-4-2015) as the soilmark of a circular area (est. diam. c. 50m), the possible remains of an earthwork. It appears to lie in the W-half of a large rectangular enclosure (est. max L c. 100m ENE-WSW; est. max Wth c. 70m NNW-SSE) defined by the cropmarks of two parallel fosses. • RO047-007002 Ringfort - cashel
  Description

  Towards the top of a N-facing slope with limestone outcrop. Subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (int. dims 35m NNE-SSW; 30.8m WNW-ESE) defined by a double-faced wall footing (Wth 1.7m; max. H 0.5m) best preserved SE-W-N, separated by a berm (Wth 4.5-5m) from an outer wall-footing of an outer wall defined by facing-stones (Wth 0.9m). There is no identifiable original entrance. A subrectangular structure (int. dims 8m N-S; 4.6m E-W at N; 10.4m E-W at S) defined by a wall-footing (Wth 1m) abuts the inner face of the inner wall at S, but this may be part of the field system (RO044-083001-).
