  Description

  At the W end of a short E-W ridge. D-shaped overgrown area (dims c. 25m NNW-SSE; c. 20m ENE-WSW) defined by a low scarp (H 0.9m) and outer fosse (Wth of base 3.5-4.2m; D 0.6m) NW-E-SE. The site is truncated by a NNW-SSE field bank at W and an ENE-WSW lane at S. Rath (RO017-010----) is c. 50m to the E. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

  Description

  Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 30m E-W; c. 20m N-S) truncated by field banks at N and W on the 1914 ed. Situated at the E end of a short E-W ridge, it is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture.   Description

  Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as an arc of a scarp (diam. c. 20m NW-SE) NW-E-S, and situated at the summit of a slight NE-SW ridge.
