Description
Towards the NW end of a NW-SE ridge. Described as a level area defined by a bank NW-NE with a fosse and outer bank at SW (Gannon 1972). It is now an oval grass-covered rise (dims c. 25m E-W; 18m N-S; H 0.15-0.25m), but is probably a rath. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

Description
Detached T-plan three-bay two-storey former station master's house, built c.1860 by Great Southern Railways. Gabled entrance bay and three-bay single-storey former ticket office and waiting room extending to south-east of main house. No longer in use and in derelict condition. Pitched slate roof with rock-faced chimneystacks, stone coping and cast-iron rainwater goods. Snecked rock-faced limestone walls. Square-headed window openings with limestone sills, tooled limestone surrounds and timber sash windows. Canted bay window to front elevation removed. Tudor-arched door surround to rear of former ticket office and waiting room. Located on platform of disused railway station. Tracks are still in use.

Detached single-storey former good shed, built c.1860 by Great Southern Railways, with water tower to north-west. No longer in use. Pitched slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods. Snecked rock-faced limestone walls with concrete quoins. Four square-headed window openings with cast-iron windows to south-west facing side elevation. Two loading bays to front and side elevations with timber canopy to opening on side elevation. Cast-iron water tank to limestone tower adjacent to goods shed. Located on platform of disused railway station. Tracks are still in use.
