  Description

  Towards the NW end of a NW-SE ridge. Described as a level area defined by a bank NW-NE with a fosse and outer bank at SW (Gannon 1972). It is now an oval grass-covered rise (dims c. 25m E-W; 18m N-S; H 0.15-0.25m), but is probably a rath. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

  Description

  Marked only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in italic lettering as an 'old mill', and situated on a low-lying landscape on the E bank of a canalised N-S-stream. No feature is visible at ground level, and there is no reason to believe it is an antiquity.
