Description
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a subrectangular area (dims c. 45m E-W; c. 30m N-S) defined by scarps at N, E and S, and by a field boundary at W. Situated on the NE-facing slope of a drumlin, it is not visible at ground level in pasture and may have been a relict field. Rath (RO017-032----) is c. 100m to the SSW. Description
On top of a drumlin. Described as a circular area (diam. 23m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by an earthen bank, with slight traces of a fosse at E (Gannon 1972). It is now visible as a subcircular grass-covered platform (dims 27m E-W; 23.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.25m at N to 0.7m at S). Earthwork (RO017-031----) is c. 100m to the NNE. Description
On a steep N-facing slope. Marked as a D-shaped embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 50m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a fragment of a bank (C c. 50m) SW-N on the 1914 ed. Described as an overgrown earthen bank (Gannon 1972), and visible now as a scarp (H 1.5m) at N (C c. 30m). The interior is overgrown. Rath (RO017-034001-) is c. 170m to the SW. Description
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle N-facing slope. Sub-triangular grass-covered area (dims 35.5m E-W; 30m N-S) with the apex at N defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5-3.1m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.7-1m) with old field walls attached at SE and SW. There is no visible entrance. This is probably a relict field. Rath (RO017-036----) is c. 220m to the E.
