On a rise in an undulatng landscape. Oval grass-covered platform (dims 41m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.6m at E to 1.4m at W to 2.3m at N) with slight traces of a bank (max. int. On a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35m WNW-ESE; 34m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.2-6.8m; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 1.7-2.5m) NE-S-SW and NW-N, but reduced to a scarp (H 2m) elsewhere. It is surrounded by a fosse (Wth of top 6.2-7.8m; Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.2-0.5m) SSW-N-E (max. ext. dim. 50m N-S), and the entrance (Wth 3.7m) is at SE, the lowest point of the interior. In a slight E-W valley. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 33m E-W; 27.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.7-4.6m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 1.5-2m) NW-E-S, which is reduced to a scarp (H 2m) elsewhere, and a fosse (Wth of top 6-7m; Wth of base 2.5-3.5m; D 0.2-0.8m) NE-S and SW-NW. Description
On the S-facing slope of a low E-W ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 33.7m N-S; 28.6m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at W: Wth 9m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.5m) and outer fosse (at W: Wth of top 6.3m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.3-0.5m) SW-NW, but the perimeter is reduced to a scarp (H 0.5-0.8m) elsewhere.
