Description
The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photograph (CUCAP BDO 54) shows irregular, oval area defined by cropmarks of fosse with internal bank (est max. diam. c. 110m). In low-lying area.

Description
A circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) identified on aerial photographs (ASIAP (51) 31-37) and visible on satellite imagery (Digitalglobe, viewed 4 October 2021). A field boundary, indicated on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map and later revision but subsequently levelled and visible as a cropmark, runs NW-SE across the interior.
