Description
On a slight knoll in otherwise low-lying pasture. A raised subcircular area (37.4m N-S; 34.3m E-W) enclosed at NNW, from NE-ENE-E, at SE and at W by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 5-6.4m; H 0.3-0.8m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 1.3-1.9m), with a wide intervening fosse (Wth 7.5-10m; D 0.7-0.8m) from NE-E-NW and an outer bank (Wth 3.8m; H 0.65m) from SW-W-NW. Description
On a shelf on an E-facing slope. A raised almost circular area (29m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed from W-NW-N and from SSE-S-SW by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4-6.1m; H 0.45-0.9m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 0.4-1m). At the base of the bank at S there is a shallow fosse (Wth 3.8m; D 0.4m). The original entrance is not recognisable. A possible house site (LF010-021002-) lies within the NE quadrant of the interior. Description
On a shelf of level ground on a S-facing slope; the ground level falls away steeply to the W. A raised circular area (diam. 36m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 3-5.5m; H 0.55-1.55m) with an external fosse (Wth 6.8m; D 0.4-1.4m), which is identifiable only at N.
